XPT – Pool Training Workshop Noosa

ActivateBody XPT Pool training workshop offers you to experience some of the most powerful methods in WATER TRAINING. Developed by big wave surfer Laird Hamilton and local Tom Molloy you will be introduced into a unique environment with all 3 pillars of XPT Breathe-Move-Recover training systems through performance breathing, XPT pool training, mobility exercises and ice exposure work.

Be part of a fun and a supportive fitness community to allow you to go beyond your threshold to expand your own capacities.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Winning Mindset- mental challenge can build mental resilience that transcends into other areas of life

  • Low impact- good for rehabilitation or exercise with less stress to joints/tissues

  • Practiced breathing- forced environment to improve breathing mechanics/abilities

  • Recovery - great for recovery of nervous system and muscles while also getting training effect If you love the surf and are looking to improve your mobility, strength or ability to handle hold downs our methods empower you with more physical and mental energy as well as higher levels of resilience to stress in the water.

This workshop will be approximately 1.5-2 hours in duration - covering educational and practical application of performance breathing, shallow water pool exercises, and ice exposure.

  • Where: Noosa Springs Resort, Links Dr, Noosa Heads QLD 4567 (meet in foyer)

  • Food and Drink: Light snacks and drinks will be provided

  • When: 8 March 2019 @ 5PM

  • What to bring: Towel, board shorts/bathers, runners and sportswear, spare clothes to change into after

Tips: 

  • Make sure you are reasonably rested, hydrated and have had a light breakfast (particularly if you are coming off the beach)
