Sports Physiotherapy: Sports specific assessment and treatment for your sporting injuries. We have extensive experience in successfully managing sports injuries, enabling us to tailor your rehabilitation specifically to your training and playing demands.
Dry Needling: This technique has evolved from traditional acupunture and involves the use of solid filament needles that are inserted into specific points to produce a local tissue response. It can be used to assist a range of conditions including back pain, neck pain, headaches and muscle/tendon conditions.
Work and Motor Vehicle Injury Management: We provide a thorough assessment of your injury, implementation of the most effective treatment techniques and consideration of all the factors required to be addressed to maximise your recovery and assist your return to work and everyday life. Ergonomic and Workplace Assessments are also available.
DVA and Medicare: We welcome clients with eligible Veterans Affairs and Medicare Chronic Disease Management referrals from their GP.
Exercise Prescription: Exercises form a large part of your overall injury management; these are provided in the form of a home, gym or sport specific program.
Running Assessments: Detailed assessments to maximise your performance and prevent injuries before they occur.
GLA:D Program: GLA:D® is an education and exercise program for people with hip or knee osteoarthritis symptoms. Research shows symptom progression reduces by 32% following the program. Other outcomes include less pain, reduced use of joint related pain killers, and less people on sick leave. This program is unique in that the education and exercises provided can be applied to everyday activities. By strengthening and correcting daily movement patterns, participants train their bodies to move properly, prevent symptom progression and reduce pain.
Functional Restoration Programs: This is a type of physiotherapy which aims to help people with chronic pain by setting them up with an exercise program to self-manage their condition. It can assist chronic pain-sufferers to increase their physical functioning, improve pain-coping skills, and to promote the return to a productive lifestyle at home or work. The difference between typical physio treatment and functional restoration is there is limited hands on treatment with functional restoration.
Surgical Rehabilitation: We have extensive experience in helping patients regain strength, movement and conditioning following orthopaedic and general surgery.
